The Hotel
The Hotel (what’s in a name 😉) is located right next to Avenue Louise and a 15-minute walk from the Grand-Place. First things first: the location is absolutely perfect! Everything is within walking distance, without feeling like you’re right in the center of the action. On top of that, you can find all kinds of stores and restaurants right next to your hotel. These stores vary greatly in price. There’s a ZARA and Weekday nearby, but also a Balenciaga, Apple Store or Louis Vuitton. Everything you need, right at your feet! Talking about having everything you need, The Hotel itself also features a spa, fitness, bar, and a restaurant. If there wasn’t so much to do in Brussels, you wouldn’t even have to leave your hotel!
The Hotel offers different kinds of rooms and suites. These range from your standard hotel room (14th floor and under) to complete suites or even a fully equipped apartment! If you decide to stay in the Deluxe Panorama room or in one of the suites, you also have access to the Panorama Lounge. The Panorama Lounge is located on the 24th floor with incredible views. Not only can you use this amazing space as the ideal workplace, it also has an open bar available from 7 AM ’til 8 PM.
Pro tip
The Hotel offers parking at € 35 per day, which we find very expensive. If you go right across the street from the hotel you’ll find the public parking ‘Deux Portes’. Here you pay only € 22 per day. A big price difference, and this for only a 2 minute walk! Also, breakfast at The Hotel is € 32 per person, per day (expensive). Superior Vista room
We stayed in the Superior Vista room on the 19th floor. Our room consisted of an open bathroom with a spacious and modern shower, a large comfy kingsize bed (amazing mattress!) and a window sofa with breathtaking views of the gorgeous Brussels skyline. The breathtaking views from our room were the number one reason we booked this hotel. Taking one last glance at the Brussel’s skyline before we went to sleep, and waking up to it was truly spectacular. The room itself was also really spacious and beautiful!
The amenities in the room were sublime as well. We had literally everything at our disposal, like bathrobes, a hair dryer, a TV, an iron, a Nespresso machine, and free Wi-Fi. Last but not least: we also had a fridge that was filled with water, Coca Cola, and a Belgian beer, all available free of charge. This was such a nice attention!
Our thoughts on The Hotel Brussels
The Hotel is the perfect base for a romantic weekend getaway in Brussels. Our room was simply magnificent, and the view could not have been better! We paid € 160 for one night, which we certainly find affordable for a gorgeous 4-star hotel in Brussels.
