Keep reading to discover where to find the 10 most Instagrammable spots in Paris you can’t miss!

1. Trocadéro

Instagrammable spots in Paris you can't miss: Trocadero

It’s probably no surprise that we start with Paris’ most iconic and famous landmark: the Eiffel Tower. There are countless spots where you can take beautiful photos with The Iron Lady. Everywhere you go, walk, or eat, there she is. So let’s start with a classic and obvious “hotspot”: Trocadéro. A trip to Paris is not complete without the obligatory photo on the Trocadéro steps with the Eiffel Tower right behind you. Since this is one of the most popular spots, we recommend arriving as early as possible. The ideal time is at sunrise, then you can enjoy an insane view without too many people. When we visited at the beginning of August, sunrise was around 6:30 AM so don’t try to snooze!

Since the Eiffel Tower is one of the most Instagrammable backdrops, it will come back a few more times in the list but we guarantee you that it’s worth it!

2. Rue de l’Université

Instagrammable spots in Paris you can't miss: Rue de l'Université

One of our favorite photo spots of the Eiffel Tower is Rue de l’Université, one of the prettiest streets of Paris and world-famous by now. This picture perfect street is an amazing location to take pictures with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The only downside is that it has become such a popular spot, that it is impossible to walk past it during the day to take some pictures. The best time to have the place to yourself is before 7 AM. We came here in early August to take some pictures around 7.15 AM, when there were already 2 professional photographers busy working, and 2 couples waiting to take pictures. The advantage is that everyone waits their turn, and the couples also take photos of each other so you also have photos of the two of you. When we walked by the street around 8.30 AM, it was already impossible to have your picture taking without people in the background!

Fun fact
We were lucky that our Airbnb was actually located in the Rue de l’Université, a 100m walk to the Eiffel Tower. Every time we walked out of our Airbnb, we were greeted by this view. Such a dream! In addition, it was also convenient for our early photo moment, 5 steps away from this famous photo-spot!

3. Avenue de Camoëns

Instagrammable spots in Paris you can't miss: Avenue de Camoëns

Another Instagrammable photo spot of the Eiffel Tower is Avenue de Camoëns. On this avenue, there is a treasure that many people miss without even realizing it! Located at the top of a staircase, you’ll find an incredible view of The Iron Lady. This stunning view leads without a doubt to stunning pictures. Of all the places we did this was the least crowded, here was one professional photographer at work with a couple, but otherwise not a tourist to be seen. There are also multiple shots you can take here, we didn’t have to wait for the photographer to finish before we could start taking pictures ourselves. Nevertheless, we still recommend arriving as early as possible, just like all other photo spots for that matter. If you’re lucky, you can have the place all to yourself!

4. Passerelle Debilly

Passerelle Debilly

If we had to choose one favorite photo spot in Paris, it would most likely be Passerelle Debilly. As all Instagrammable places in Paris we mentioned before, this one also provides a backdrop of the Eiffel Tower!

Here you really get the total package of the best that Paris has to offer: a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower, the Seine River and a beautiful bridge with love locks. Picture perfect of romantic Paris! The best part is that this was totally not on our to do list. We were on our way to Avenue de Camoëns from the Rue de l’Université, when we crossed this bridge by coincidence and noticed the amazing views it has to offer. We were out early, around 6 AM in the morning. Here we enjoyed the sunrise, this was soooooo magical. When we come back this is the first stop we do!

5. Galeries Lafayette

Galeries Lafayette

One last spot of the Eiffel Tower that you shouldn’t be missing: Galeries Lafayette. It is known as one of the most popular and fancy shopping centers in Paris, but did you know they have an amazing rooftop as well? Rooftops in Paris are absolutely stunning, Galeries Lafayette is no exception. And best of all: it’s completely free! The terrace offers a panoramic view of the city, with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The building itself is also beautiful, both the interior and exterior, which means this is a great spot to do some shopping, enjoy some amazing architecture, and get a really nice, free view of The Eiffel Tower!

6. Palais Royal

Instagrammable spots in Paris you can't miss: Palais Royal

Let’s move on to other great photo spots. An extremely famous photo spot is Palais Royal, and we totally understand why. The beautiful black and white striped columns look absolutely amazing and scream the perfect Instagram spot! We think there are countless ways to take pictures here, so don’t miss out. Again, we recommend doing this in the morning so you can take pictures undisturbed.

7. Arc de Triomphe

Arc de Triomphe

Next up: Arc de Triomphe, one of the most important national monuments in France. In addition, it is also a beautiful background for photos. We recommend not to take pictures in the middle of the street, this is very dangerous as it is very crowded here and there are many cars driving. There is a path especially for pedestrians where you can take great pictures. On the Avenue des Champs Élysées, close to the Arc de Triomphe, there is a small strip in between the roads from both sides where you can (safely) take pictures with only the Arc de Triomphe (and maybe some cars) in the background.

Pro tip
If you want to enjoy a panoramic view over Paris, make sure to go up to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. A ticket to visit the Arc de Triomphe is about € 10.

8. Musée du Louvre

Musée du Louvre

Being one of the most visited landmarks in Paris with many world-famous artworks, Musée du Louvre doesn’t really need an introduction. The world’s largest art museum is also the perfect photo spot, both outside and inside. The iconic glass pyramid and the insanely beautiful buildings are truly one of the most Instagrammable places in Paris! If you want to take photos outside, we recommend arriving at least half an hour before opening (the Louvre opens at 9 AM). At 8:30 AM, tourists start arriving to visit the Louvre and to wait in line, making it immensely crowded in no time. When we arrived at 8:15 AM, there were some people, but we were still able to take good photos without people in the background!

9. La Maison Rose

Instagrammable spots in Paris you can't miss: La Maison Rose

Another Instagrammable place in Paris that’s definitely worth checking out is La Maison Rose. When Emily has been here, then you know you’re in the right place. 😂 This cute little pink building has probably shown up on your Instagram feed more than once. It is located in Montmartre, one of the most picturesque areas in Paris and just a few steps from the Sacré-Coeur. Since it’s a restaurant, you can also eat here! If you want to take pictures without people in the background we recommend stopping by when the restaurant is closed.

10. Pink Mamma

Instagrammable spots in Paris you can't miss: Pink Mamma

We end the list of Instagrammable places with another restaurant: Pink Mamma. In this blog post we already talked about how delicious the food was, especially the truffle pasta. But since the interior is so gorgeous as well, we thought it was worth mentioning again in this list. Each floor has its own design, the top floor is without doubt the most beautiful floor. Countless Instagram photos have already been taken here, and the stairs are also a popular location. Combine good food with some great photos, what more could you want!
