With over 7000 islands to explore, each offering its own slice of heaven, it’s no wonder this country is a beach lover’s dream. From soft white sands that feel like walking on clouds to waters so clear and blue, these 5 incredible beaches in the Philippines are just waiting for you to dive in and explore.

1. Banul Beach, Coron

5 incredible beaches in the Philippines: Banul Beach, Coron

Our favorite beach in the Philippines is without doubt Banul Beach. We’ve never seen such crystal-clear water and beautiful white sand. It looked like a postcard! The only way to access Banul Beach is by doing a Coron Island Tour.

We visited around 10 AM and there was only one other couple on the beach. It was amazing to have the place almost to ourselves! We had our early lunch there around 11, and by the time we left at 12, the beach was getting crowded with boats and people. If you want that private beach feeling, definitely come early!

2. Nacpan Beach, El Nido

Nacpan Beach, El Nido

Nacpan Beach is one of our favorite beaches in the Philippines. With soft white sand, clear water, and endless coconut trees, it’s our idea of a perfect beach! The best part is its long stretch, so even when it’s busy, you can still find a peaceful spot. There are a few stalls with food and drinks, and you can also rent sunbeds. We paid 500 pesos (around € 8) for two sunbeds and a parasol.

3. 7 Commandos Beach, El Nido

7 Commandos Beach, El Nido

7 Commandos Beach is a dreamy beach with soft white sand, turquoise water, and endless rows of palm trees. The only tricky part is that you can only get there by tour or by kayaking, but that’s part of the fun! We like the fact it’s not easily accessible.

The best time to visit is around noon when everyone else is having lunch. We arrived just before noon, and everyone was leaving. This means we had the beach to ourselves for at least an hour! We had so much fun swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. There’s even a stall that sells drinks and snacks. Who doesn’t love the feeling of having a private beach?

4. Vanilla Beach, El Nido

5 incredible beaches in the Philippines: Vanilla Beach, El Nido

The best sunset spot on El Nido is definitely Vanilla Beach. We saw some of the most magical sunsets there during our time in the Philippines! The beach is lined with bars offering happy hour deals, so you can enjoy a delicious cocktail while watching the sun go down. Plus, it’s a great place to make friends. We met a sweet German girl and a lovely Dutch couple there! It’s also a more lively beach, with some beach bars playing great music and offering all sorts of happy hour deals.

5. White Beach, Moalboal

White Beach, Moalboal

Last but not least: White Beach in Moalboal. While it’s not as dreamy as the other beaches we mentioned, we still had a great time at White Beach! It has white sand and crystal blue water. We loved seeing so many locals here, especially the kids playing around. Another thing we liked was the locals selling drinks on the beach. We bought a small bottle of rum and two coconuts for about € 5. What a steal!
